COMER – Jerry Dupree Anglin, 49, died suddenly at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens on Thursday, May 19, 2011.
Born on March 20, 1962, he was the son of the Rev. William Dupree and Helen Flowers Anglin in Atlanta. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and attended Welcome Avenue Congregational Holiness Church. Mr. Anglin was preceded in death by his wife, Tracy Glover Anglin.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Lisa Broach Anglin; daughters, Samantha Anglin and CaSondra Hatfield; son, Jeremy Dupree Anglin; stepdaughters, Megan and Jamie Reece; stepson, Jacob Pearson; sisters and brothers-in-law Deborah and Loyd Callaway, Jane and Tommy Giles, Shevonda and Rick Cowart; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Toni Anglin; granddaughter, Caylee; four nephews; and five nieces.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 22, from Welcome Avenue Congregational Holiness Church with the Revs. Larry Pruitt and Gloria Farmer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
