Mary Inez Dixon (5-6-11)

JOHNS CREEK – Mary Inez Stowe Dixon, 80, died Friday, May 6, 2011.

She was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Nellie Stowe. She was an amazing woman who was loved by all and will be missed by many friends and family. Her favorite pasttime was sitting on the front porch every afternoon and spending time with her youngest granddaughter, McKenzie. She was a wonderful, caring and loving mother that will be missed dearly. Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kenneth Dixon.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Wortman; son-in-law, Brian Wortman; brother, Hoyt Stowe Jr.; and grandchildren, Jaime, Steven and McKenzie.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour.
