Eddie Haggard (5-3-11)

ROYSTON – Eddie Roy Haggard, 64, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at his residence.

Born in Commerce, he was the son of the late Sammy and Reecie Ann Allen Haggard. He was retired from Bonds Boats and Motors.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Archer Haggard, Royston; a son, Eddie Haggard, Danielsville; brothers, Allen, Aaron, Harvey Joe and Ted Haggard, all of Danielsville, and Mitchell Haggard, Elberton; sisters, Helen Haynes and Jackie Reed, both of Danielsville, and Mona Wagner, Watkinsville; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Larry Dyer and Douglas Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Galilee Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.
