DANIELSVILLE – Mary Garland Williams Stovall, 82, died early Sunday morning, May 1, 2011, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Garland and Mae Lord Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Nelson Stovall, Sr., Danielsville; children, Mark Stovall and Cindy South, both of Ila, Jon Stovall, Buford, Tom Stovall, Suwanee, and Alice Stovall, Decatur; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 4, at 2 p.m., from the Trinity Baptist Church in Danielsville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home located at 42 Booger Hill Rd., Danielsville, on Tuesday, May 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at other times at the residence located at 2451 Friendship Church Rd., Danielsville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Athens Regional Medical Center Palliative Care Services, 1199 Prince Ave., Athens, GA 30606.
Ivie Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
