ATHENS - Jolynn "Miss Jo" Farley, 58, let go peacefully Saturday, April 23, 2011, surrounded by her family following a valiant fight with ovarian cancer.
A native of Athens, Mrs. Farley was preceded in death by her parents, George F. and Frances Fuller Venable.
Survivors include her husband, James H. ╥Jim╙ Farley, Sr.; daughter, Tonya (Eric) Wagner, Bogart; son, Michael (Catherine) Farley, Athens; granddaughter, Lacey M. Wagner, Bogart; grandsons, Cael and Aidan Farley, both of Athens; mother-in-law, Lena Evans Farley, Florence, Ala.; stepchildren, Jim Farley, Jr. and Rebecca Crafton, Gulf Shores, Ala.; five step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 27, at 3 p.m. at The Church at College Station, formerly Athens First Assembly of God, 1225 College Station Road with the Rev. Ron Langford officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 26, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Farley's many close friends and caregivers. She loved her family and friends without question, and is now in her Father's loving arms to suffer no more. We love you much-much, Nana.
