Henry House (4-22-11)

NICHOLSON – Henry Eugene House, 81, died Friday, April 22, 2011.

A native of Banks County, he was the son of the late M.J. and Lizzie House. Mr. House was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Brown House; and a daughter, Patricia Azbell. He was a United States Army veteran and was a retired truck driver and farmer.

Survivors include children, Ronnie (Doris) House, Christine (Raymond) Thomas, Jeannie Strickland (Jerry Arnold), Karen Thomas (Jimmy Porterfield); son-in-law, Tim Azbell; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25, at 2 p.m., at Brown Chapel with the Rev. Hillman Martin officiating. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Arnold, Jimmy Porterfield, Ricky Cantrell, Jeremy Ray, Terry Stewart, Lee Stinchcomb, Randy Stinchcomb and Chad Stinchcomb.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
