‘Denny’ Bloom (4-19-11)

COLBERT - Rodger Dennis “Denny” Bloom, 58, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011.

Born in Trenton, N.J., he was a son of Roger Bloom and the late Madelyn Keating Bloom. He lived in this area for the last 15 years after moving from Keene, N.H. and was employed with Pro Mach (Fowler Products).

Survivors in addition to his father include his wife, Nickole Nicholas Bloom; three sons, Andrew T. Bloom, Matthew D. Bloom, Michael J. Bloom; stepdaughter, Jade Walmsley and husband, Jason; sisters, Joyce Talley, Linda Rule; brother, Kevin Bloom; sister-in-law, Debbie Bloom; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 23, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Burial will follow in Colbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
