Blanche Beach (3-30-11)

JEFFERSON – Blanche McElroy Beach, 86, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at her residence.

Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late John William and Jessie Mae Briscoe McElroy. She was of the Baptist denomination and was a retired registered nurse. Mrs. Beach was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John W. Beach.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ginny and Michael Anderson, Jefferson; brothers, Henry McElroy and Bobby McElroy, both of Statham; grandchildren, Tiffany (Kyle) Rainwater, Amberly Anderson and Dakota Anderson; great-grandchildren, Kaliyan Rainwater and Zyan Rainwater.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. John Wood officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
