DANIELSVILLE – Ruth Ethel Harris, 87, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at her residence.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Dewitt Charles and Blanche Nye Hatch. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Jervaes Bascom Harris.
Survivors include children, Sandy Lawrence, Townsend, Mass., Cindy Harris, Peterborough, N.H., Dot Harris and Dan Harris, both of Danielsville, and James Harris, Athens; sisters, Suzanne Hatch, Jean Hatch and Dorothy Hatch, all of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
No memorial services are scheduled at this time.
Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
