Sara Frances Jackson (3-20-11)

TALMO - Sara Frances Jackson, 79, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late H.G. and Pauline Ledford Jackson. She was of the Baptist denomination.

Thanks to everyone who made her last days comfortable. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends that loved her dearly.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, H.G. “Buddy” Jackson Jr. and Nina Jackson, Gillsville; sisters, Mary Jackson, Gainesville, and Alma “Judy” Jackson, Talmo; 12 nieces and nephews; a large number of great-nieces and nephews; and a large number of great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Ward’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Mullinax officiating. Burial will be in Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 22, from 6 to 9 p.m.
