HULL – Sylvia Juanita Gale, 76, died Thursday, March 17, 2011.
Born in Homer on January 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Bessie Sheridan. She was retired from Highland Hills Healthcare as a nurse’s aide. Mrs. Gale was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Cesar “Tony” Gale; Cynthia Veal, Terry Roach, Rosslyann Sheridan, Carolyn Sheridan, Earline Sheridan and Leon Sheridan; and four grandchildren, Dustin Veal, Regi Johngan, Tina McDonald and Aubrey Roach.
Memorial services were held at the family’s home Saturday, March 19.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or the American Heart Association.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
