BRASELTON - J.G. Wheeler Jr., 80, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011.
He was the son of the late J.G. and Marelle Hulsey Wheeler. He had resided in Jackson County most of his life. Mr. Wheeler was a member of the New Liberty United Methodist Church and was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a retiree of General Motors.
Survivors include his wife, Gaynelle Martin Wheeler; children, Tim Wheeler, Joni Wheeler and Anita Wheeler.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 20, at 2 p.m., from the New Liberty United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Gary Greenwald officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, March 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
