DALLAS - Mack E. Hall, 80, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011.
He was born in Kingsport, Tenn., September 29, 1930, to the late, John E. and Stella Gray Hall. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by an infant daughter; and a brother, Claude Hall. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from IBM after 31 years of service as a customer engineer and was a member of the Dallas Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ellen M. Hall; sons, Larry M. Hall, California, and Curtis A. Hall, Dallas; a daughter, Toni L. Hall Black, Dallas; brother, Joe H. Hall, Kingsport, Tenn.; grandchildren, Erin and Rico Mercado, Amanda and Alan Free and Tracy Hall; great-grandchild, Kai Mercado; special nephew, Josh Totherow, Commerce; sister-in-law, Jo Totherow, Commerce; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 19, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home, with the Rev. Warren Causey officiating and remarks by sister-in-law, Jo Totherow. Burial will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Roy Ford, Alan Free, Mike Heddon, Jack Hessler, Josh Totherow, and Rico Mercado are serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 18, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
