Duffell Raymond (3-16-11)

COMER – Raymond Duffell, 71, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at his residence.

Born in Madison County on December 18, 1939, he was the son of the late George and Mary Gertrude Booth Duffell. He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist denomination.

Survivors include a son, Stacey Duffell, Comer; grandchildren, Lacey Duffell and Brian Duffell; sisters, Ruth Vaughn and Mary Roach, both of Royston; and a brother, Darrell Duffell, Athens.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 20, at 3 p.m., from the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Odis Graham and the Rev. Reggie Vaughn officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Family Life Center in Comer. The family is at home.
