Edna Babb (3-14-11)

JEFFERSON – Edna Elizabeth Reynolds Babb, 86, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Bentley Assisted Living following a period of declining health.

Born on February 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Mollie Mae Edwards Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a member of Galilee Christian Church. Mrs. Babb was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Edward Babb Sr.; and a son, Martin Richard Babb.

Survivors include sons, Larry E. (Tammy) Babb, Jefferson, and Eddie (Martha) Babb, Nicholson; a daughter, Linda Babb Jensen, Tampa, Fla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Mobley officiating. Burial will be in Bogart Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
