Billy Tucker (3-12-11)

HOMER – Billy N. Tucker Sr., 77, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at his residence.

Born in Homer, he was the son of the late Clarence L. and Wilbert Hill Tucker Sr. He was a mobile home salesman, member of the Homer United Methodist Church, Deer Trail Country Club and was a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Lewallen Tucker; sons Billy N. Tucker Jr. and Scott Coulliette.

Survivors include a son, Allen Tucker, Dacula; brother, Clarence L. Tucker Jr., Lavonia; grandchildren, Chris Tucker, Homer, and Meredith Tucker, Dacula; step-grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Dyer, both of Atlanta; and a great-grandson, Dalton Tucker, Homer.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15, at 2 p.m., from the Homer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim McLendon officiating. Burial will be in Banks Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 14, from 4 to 8 p.m.
