Paul Wilson (3-8-11)

LULA – Paul Wilson, 90, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at BJC Nursing Home.

Born in Banks County, he was the son of the late Johnny and Lizzie Roberts Wilson. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and served as a deacon. He was a retired poultry farmer. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Baugh Wilson.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline (Raymond) Parks, Maysville, Mary Helen (Gene) Sims, Gillsville, and Barbara (Allen) Wofford, Jefferson; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, at 2 p.m., from the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with the Revs. Ralph Smith and James Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in state in the church at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night, March 10, from 4 to 8 p.m.
