ROYSTON – Kenneth Stephen Bond, 42, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at the Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston.
Born in Franklin County on April 6, 1968, he was the son of Paul Bond of Royston and the late Peggy Thomas Crook. He was a carpenter and attended the Rice Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his father include his wife, Barbara Shealy Bond, Royston; sons, Jonathan Bond and Justin Bond, both of Royston; daughter, Jordan Bond, Royston; stepfather, Charles Crook, Canon; stepmother, Jane Bond, Royston; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeff and Kandy Bond, Royston; and Greg Crook, Canon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ashley and Nick Royce, Loganville, Susan and Tim Chitwood, Lavonia, and Lisa and Eric Zimmerman, Greenville, S.C.; grandfather, Robert Thomas, Toccoa; and step-grandmother, Ida Mae Hill, Canon.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 5, at 3 p.m., from the Rice Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Thomas and Terry Wood officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The family is at home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rice Creek Baptist Church.
