Eva Jo Sailers (2-22-11)

COMMERCE – Eva Jo Potts Sailers, 76, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Landmark Hospital.

Born in Commerce, she was the daughter of the late J.D. and Lucile Potts. She was a member of Commerce Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Sailers was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Thomas Sailers; and a brother, Thomas Potts.

Survivors include sons, Eric (Joann) Sailers, Commerce, and Ethan (Holly) Sailers, Carrollton; a brother, J.D. Potts, Commerce; sisters, Shirley Wilson, Athens, and Kathy Perry, Grayson; grandsons, Michael (Stephanie) Sailers, Lula, and Ethan Sailers Jr., Carrollton; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 24, at 11 a.m., at Jackson Memorial Gardens with Brian Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, February 23, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
