Eulene Quattlebaum (2-17-11)

HOSCHTON - Eulene Maddox Quattlebaum, 90, died Thursday, February 17, 2011.

A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Truman and Belle Simpson Simmons. She was preceded in death by husbands John Maddox and John Quattlebaum. Mrs. Quattlebaum was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and was a former member of The Helping Hands Club.

Survivors include her children, Marla Tyler, Hoschton, Marvin Maddox, Lavonia, and Danny Maddox, St. Simons; stepchildren, Hartwell Quattlebaum and Bobby Quattlebaum, both of Gainesville; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 19, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial was in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
