BRASELTON – Bobbie Ray Carlisle, 66, died Saturday, February 12, 2011.
Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Howell and Mary Lois Moody Ray. She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Loyd Everest Carlisle, Braselton; sons, Buddy Carlisle, Braselton, Bobby (Sweet Pea) Carlisle, Jefferson, Steven Carlisle, Statham, Tracy Carlisle, Royston; daughters, Barbara Hines, Danielsville, Joy Gooch, Braselton; brothers, Dale and David Ray, Nicholson, Thomas Ray, Commerce; sisters, Helen Nesbitt, Auburn, Estelle Carlisle, Winder, and Ann Nix, Flowery Branch; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 15, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Calvin Gooch, Gary Carlyle and Ronnie Coley officiating. Burial will be in the Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, February 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Honored as pallbearers will be Steve Carlisle, Tracy Carlisle, Richie Hines, Dale Ray, Richard Hines, Christopher Landry, and Dillan Carlisle.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
