Jesup-Marshall James Coile, 31, died Monday, January 31, 2011, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla., following a short illness.
He was a native of Early County, a graduate of the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forest Resources and was employed as a Hardwood Flow Coordinator for Rayonier Performance Fibers. He was an avid hunter and sportsman, a devoted and loving father and husband, and a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Jesup First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Robinson Coile, Odum; a son, Luke James Coile, Odum; parents, Justin and Elaine Coile, Blakely; one brother, Preston (Melanie) Coile, Valdosta; grandparents, the Rev. Calvin and Bobbie Coile, Comer, Bill and Brenda Hudgins, Watkinsville, and Walter and the late Joann Jones, Blakely; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 3, at 2 p.m. at the Jesup First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike VonMoss officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Howard Jones Nobles Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 4, at 2 p.m. at the Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery in Comer, with the Rev. Mike Sarna officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Sam Edison, Jeff Braswell, Jason English, Shaun Freeman, Ken Walker, Zack Kidd, Tom Wright and Ryan Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be High School Sunday School Class of the Jesup First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Luke James Coile Scholarship Fund at the First Baptist Church, 185 South Brunswick St., Jesup, GA 31546.
