COMMERCE – Gail Hatton, 65, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011.
Born on June 14, 1945, she was the daughter of Bob Nelson of Danville, Ill. and Faye Wiles Nelson of Commerce. She was a manager for CVS Pharmacy for 27 years at numerous local stores.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Cletus Hatton, Commerce; children, Bobby and Teresa Grider and Robin and Robert Reeves, all of Commerce, Tina and Jerry Miller, Maysville; stepson, Dwayne Hatton, Maysville; grandchildren, T.J. Phillips, Tamitha, Hannah, Austin, Dylan and Brittany Grider, Jessica and David Latty and Makayla Fowler; great-grandchildren, Tyler Marlowe and Dalton Latty.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 3, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Mobley officiating. Burial will be in the Evans Memory Gardens with Kent Sears, Steve Perry, Roger Thomas, Michael Young, James Bramblett and Scott Lewis honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 2, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.

We love you Gail and will miss you dearly. You have touched more lives than anyone else I know. Now you are looking down watching over all those you helped and cared about.

Gail will be missed by many. I worked with her at CVS in Commerce for about a year and she was always a kind woman to me. She would always bring in food on days we would get our trucks and we always had a good time working with her. I'll miss her a lot.

My mother was the best! She was my dearest best friend. I am so lost without her, She will most definetely be missed by all. I love her so very much. I am so proud that I was her daughter and that she loved me so much!
