Jacob Dylan Book

COMMERCE – Jacob Dylan Book, 18, died Thursday, January 27, 2011.

Born on March 29, 1992, in Atlanta, he was the son of Charles David Book and Robin Lacy Book, both of Commerce. He was a 2010 graduate of Banks County High School and was an Assistant Manager of the Sonic Restaurant in Commerce. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Commerce. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Elery Book II.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, McKenna Elizabeth Book, Commerce; grandparents, Elizabeth Dawn Book, Kingstree, S.C., Charlene Lacy, Tucker, Richard and Janet Lacy, Greensboro, N.C.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 30, at 2 p.m., from the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Blake Carter officiating. The visitation will be held Saturday, January 29, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
