Wendall Eugene Hanson Jr., 70, of Comer, died Saturday, August 2, 2008, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Wendell E. Hanson Sr. and Hazel “Cookie” Hanson. He was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant in which he served in the Vietnam war. He was also a Free Mason and a Shriner. He was an exceptionally loving and devoted husband, a loving and caring father and grandfather, and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Gail E. Hanson; a daughter, Wendy Hanson Knight; son, Wendall (Gene) Hanson III; brother, David “Tiny” Hanson; sister Martha Perdue; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
