DANIELSVILLE – Vivian Brooks, formerly of Athens, currently residing in Madison County, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.P. Watson. She was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Company after 34 years of service and was a member of West End Baptist Church. She was also affiliated with Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by three brothers; three sisters; a beloved daughter, Judy Dillard; son-in-law, Milton Dalton; and a great-granddaughter, Hanna Kellum.
Survivors include daughters, Margie Dalton, Jefferson, and Pam (Alvin) Minish, Danielsville; sister, Stella Smith, Savannah; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Monday, January 24, at Oconee Hill Cemetery with the Revs. Harold Rodgers and Thomas Dial officiating.
