DACULA – Dorothy Louise Browning, 89, died Sunday, January 23, 2011.
She was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church and a retired seamstress from Georgia Slacks. Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Browning in February 2000.
Survivors include children, Dorothy Fay and Perry Harrison and Donald Ray and Wanda Browning, all of Dacula, Vera Randall, Auburn, Marron and Pam Browning, Hoschton; brothers, Dean and Katherine Butler, Dallas and Ouida Butler and Clifford Butler Jr., all of Dacula; sisters, Betty Moody, Marietta, Frances Ayers and Ruth Ethridge, both of Dacula; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 25, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with John Bensley and Minister John Weaton Jr. officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
