William Albert “Bud” Day, 46, of Royston, died Sunday, August 3, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Anderson, S.C., on June 25, 1962, he was the son of Judy Hopper Day of Hartwell and the late William “Bill” Day. He was a technician in the textile industry and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bowman.
Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, Tammie Bryant Day, Royston; a son, Brandon Day, Walhalla, S.C.; daughters, Kelly Day, Walhalla, S.C., and Allie Day, Hartwell; step-children, Hunter Hilliard and Brittany Hilliard; a sister, Pam Dutton, Hartwell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral expenses.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.
