COLBERT – Gregory Q. Kotler III, 59, died Friday, January 7, 2011.

A native of Augusta, he was the son of the late Beatrice McGregor.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Faulkner Kotler; children, Eleanor Jacobs, Steven Kotler, Gregory Q. Kotler IV; stepchildren, Karen Gaither, Robert Chafin Jr., Lynn Wheeler and Donald Chafin; brothers, Ronnie Kotler, Larry Kotler and Billy Reynolds; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Saturday, January 15, from Druid Park Bible Church in Augusta with the Rev. Dewey Jones officiating.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
