‘Mickey’ Nunnally

ATHENS – Dorothy Mildred “Mickey” Nunnally, 74, died Thursday, January 13, 2011.

She was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Eva Inez Little Shelton. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Nunnally was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dayton Nunnally Jr.; and siblings, Clarence Shelton, Betty Coccio, and Lloyd Shelton.

Survivors include sons, Dillard Nunnally and Darrell Nunnally, both of Statham, Dennis (Brenda) Frye, Hull; sisters, Connie Bryant (Joe), Gray, and Lisa Zilaro, Thomaston, Conn.; brothers, Billy Shelton (Anne) Oakville, Conn., and Henry Shelton, Fort Pierce, Fla; grandchildren, T.J. Frye and Katie Frye; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 17, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 16, from 6 to 8 p.m.
