Kay Coleman, 56, of Royston, died Friday, July 25, 2008, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
She was born in Franklin County on August 28, 1951, the daughter of Louise Cromer Fowler of Franklin Springs and the late Melvin Fowler. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by sisters, Elaine James and Twyla Williams.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, Johnnie Wayne Coleman, Royston; a son, Brandon Coleman, Royston; daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Kenny Floyd, Royston; grandsons, Rhett and Landon Floyd; sisters, Evelyn Roach, Franklin Springs, and LaRinda Boleman, Royston.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 28, at Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Harrison Lampley and Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial was in the Salem Holiness Church Cemetery.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
