ATHENS – Larry James David, 60, died Sunday, January 9, 2011, at his residence.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Marshall and Clara Cody David. He was previously employed with Blue Bell Manufacturing.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Evans David, Jefferson; son, Jason David, Jefferson; daughter, Cassie David, Watkinsville; a brother, Steve David, Maysville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 16, at 2:30 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Douglas Duncan, Donald Wilson and Chris Heath officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, January 15, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
