Sara Milton

COMMERCE – Sara Gertrude Mann Milton, 73, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born in Elmore County, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Jay Hugh and Essie Mae Davis Mann. She was a member of Galilee Holiness Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Horace William Milton, Commerce; daughters, Carol Lemasters, Commerce, and Penny Dyer, Danielsville; son, Jay Milton, Commerce; sisters, Beatrice Golden, Tallassee, Ala., and Ruth Mullican, Dadeville, Ala.; brother, Davis Mann, Realtown, Ala.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 15, at 1 p.m., from Galilee Holiness Church with the Revs. Steve Johnson, Larry Dyer and Marty Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, January 14, from 5 to 8 p.m.
