Jeffrey Garner

Jeffrey Richard Garner, 45, of Royston, died Friday, July 25, 2008, at Elbert Memorial Hospital in Elberton.

Born in Franklin County on February 13, 1963, he was the son of Richard and Pat Hart Garner of Canon. He was a builder in the construction industry and was a member of the Canon Baptist Church. He was an avid motorcycle rider.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife, Larissa Powers Garner, Royston; a son, Matt Human, Royston; daughter, Stacey Askew, Royston; grandchildren, Kristen and Kaydence Human; and a sister, Janet Jordan, Lavonia.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 28, at the Canon Baptist Church with the Rev. Cory Pulliam officiating. Burial was in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-South.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
