JEFFERSON – Nancy Drew WilliamsShowalter, 67, died Sunday, January 9, 2011.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Morgan Williams. She worked with Wal-Mart Corporation and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Showalter was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Showalter; granddaughter, Carrie Coker; sisters, Martha and Mary; and brothers, Donald, Joey, Milton and Benny Hugh.
Survivors include daughters, Sherri Dills, Heather Bowles and Haley Achacoso, all of Jefferson, Jennifer Showalter, Florida; son, William Budge, Cincinnati; brothers, Johnny and Bobby Williams, Athens; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 13, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. A private burial will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 13, from 1 to 2 p.m.
