ROYSTON – Alice Ozelee Fulbright Dalton of the Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston and formerly of Danielsville, died Thursday, January 6, 2011.
Born in Franklin County on February 28, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Rosie Irene Brown Fulbright. She was a retired inspector having worked with Blue Bell Manufacturing and was a member of the Bethel M Baptist church. Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Dalton; a son, James Henry Dalton; and three brothers.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Janis Dalton, Danielsville; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Stiles Hopkins, Danielsville; grandchildren and spouses, Hershel and Beth Dalton, Ricky and Lisa Dalton, Helen and J.R. Bellow, April and Sean Kirk, Christie and Seth Chambers, Katie Dalton and Kelly Dalton Betts; great-grandchild, Riley McLaren Kirk; great-great-grandchild, Dalton Betts; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyle and Sarah Fulbright, Dan and Evelyn Fulbright, and Eugene and Betty Fulbright, all of Greenville, S.C., Joe Fulbright, Easley, S.C., Paul and Sylvia Fulbright, Williamston, S.C.; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Fulbright Bailey, Blanche Kidd, Mildred Tatham and Mary Fulbright Pridemore, all of Greenville, S.C.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel M. Baptist Church cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 12 noon till funeral hour Saturday afternoon. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton, 627 Booger Hill Rd., Danielsville, GA 30633.
