Carleton Duncan

HOSCHTON - Carleton Raye Duncan, 74, died Thursday, December 30, 2010.

Born in Waycross, he was the son of the late Harold and Ruby Poplin Duncan. Mr. Duncan received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and was a field engineer for Audichron Electronics. He was of the Baptist denomination. Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his wife, Claurice Duncan.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carla Sincavage, Winder, and Kaye and David Kozarich, Hoschton; sisters, Evelyn Harper, Vienna, and Carolyn Dubose, Memphis, Tenn., and three grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Monday, January 3, from Smith Memory Chapel, with the Rev. John Burchfield officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
