WINDER - Stephen “Wayne” Smith, 52, died Friday, December 31, 2010.
Born in Winder, he was the son of Jack and Connie Holcombe Smith of Winder. Mr. Smith was of the Methodist denomination and attended Galilee Christian Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Kim Huff Smith, Winder; stepson, Shane Huff, Winder; granddaughter McKenzie Huff; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Reed Gunderman, Winder; and nephew, Ben Harbin.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 2, from Smith Memory Chapel, with the Rev. Parker Benson officiating. Burial was in Galilee Christian Church Cemetery.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
