Charles Timothy Brakhage Sr., 46, died Monday, December 27, 2010.

He was the son of Hazel Digman.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Kathy; daughter and her husband, Courtney and Jeremy Fortner; son and his wife, Timothy and Heather Brakhage; three stepchildren, Christina, Melanie and Patrick; four grandchildren, Olivia, Gavin, Alexis and Braedon; seven siblings, Dennis Brakhage, Ray Brakhage and his mate, Cindy, Mike Brakhage and his wife, Gina, Cindy Norton and her mate, Barry, Kathy May Brakhage, Denise Guined and her husband, Danny, Tammy Sue Steeley and her husband, David; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Smith officiating. Burial will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, at the funeral home.

Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
