COMMERCE - Harold Lee “Buck” Brown, 83, died early Tuesday morning, December 28, 2010, at his residence.
Born in Banks County, he was the son of the late Garnett and Willie Mae Crane Brown. He had worked in car sales and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his children, Randy Lee Brown, Commerce, Barbara Brown Scales, Homer, Betty Brown Rogers, Franklin, Tenn., Shirley Brown McClure, Commerce, and Keisha Brown Fambro, Savannah; siblings, Nelson Brown, Edna Gooch and Vera Lockman, all of Commerce, and Linda Barnett, Nicholson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 29, from 5 to 8 p.m., and at other times at the residence located at 345 Lathan Rd. in Commerce.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
