COMMERCE – Willie Mae Nelms, 89, died Monday, December 27, 2010, at BJC Medical Center.
Born in Cornelia, she was the daughter of the late John and Vangie McAllister Tench. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Nelms was preceded in death by her husband, Hubbard Nelms.
Survivors include a niece, Sara Whitsel, Commerce.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 30, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Carlton Peters officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
