James Allen Ferguson

COMMERCE – James Allen Ferguson, 50, died Sunday, December 26, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospice House.

Born in Hall County, he was the son of the late Harold Ferguson and Rebecca Bailey Gary. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Hanes Ferguson, Commerce; daughters, Nicole Norman, Cherry Point, N.C., Brittnay Ferguson, Clarksville, Heather Twiss, Jefferson; sons, Justin Ferguson, Dahlonega, Cameron Ferguson, Commerce, Austin Ferguson, Berrin Springs, Mich., Brandon Patterson, Cornelia, Jeremy Singleton and Jacoby Shontz, both of Virginia, Christopher Prouch, Arkansas; brother, Ronald Gary, Athens; and a sister, Cathy Langston, Athens.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
