JEFFERSON – Lewis Wesley Miller Jr., 58, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010.
Born on December 26, 1951, in Athens, he was the son of the late Lewis W. and Florence LaCount Miller. He was a paint contractor whose favorite things to do were spending time in his shop working on a range of projects that include refinishing furniture, re-purposing antiques, working on automobiles and enjoying good times with his many friends. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by a sister, Alice LaFaye Sims.
Survivors include his wife, Dolly Bell Miller, Jefferson; a daughter, Lesley Dale Miller, Diamond Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tommy Robinson, Lexington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Claudia Lyn and Ray Statham; brother-in-law, Roy and Debbie Bell and Charles and Christy Bell; grandchildren, Russell Wesley Miller and Lindsey Dayle Miller; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 26, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park with Charles Bell, Christopher Bell, Zoobie Martin, Tracy Galloway, Michael Sims, Buddy Snow, D.J. Willingham and C.J. Bell honored as pallbearers.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
