HOMER – William C. “Bill” Reed, 82, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Odyssey House.
Born in Hall County, he was the son of the late Brock J. and Buenia Martin Reed. He was retired from Peachtree Tooling. Mr. Reed was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Tippett.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Reed, Homer; daughters, Wanda Roper, Oakwood, Debbie Banks and RoseMary Gicker, both of Homer, and Tammy Brand, Cleveland; sons, Mark Reed, St. Petersburg, Fla., David Reed, Homer, and BJ Reed, Athens; brother, Hansel Reed, Oakwood; and a number of grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 22, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Swayne Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

Prayers with this family! Bill was a truly great man! Many are going to miss him. He was a great example to his family and friends!
