GILLSVILLE – Thomas Harold Pruitt, 44, died Tuesday evening, December 14, 2010, in Augusta.

Born in Commerce, he was the son of LaJane Ervin of Gillsville and the late Harold Pruitt.

Survivors in addition to his mother include a daughter, Kayla Pruitt, Monroe; his father, Johnny Ervin, Gillsville; sister, Misty Phillips, Homer; brother, Johnathan Ervin, Gillsville; and half-brother, Bruce Pruitt.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 17, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Donald Wilson and Eddie Gordon officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, December 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the family residence located at 6216 Wilson Dr., Gillsville.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
