Linda Phillips, 66, of Braselton, died Saturday, May 17, 2008.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Eva Fagen Gunter. She was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church and had worked in the meat department of Big Star Grocery before retiring.
Survivors include a son, Ricky Martin, Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Robby and Ron Goss, Jefferson; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Cindy Martin, Monroe; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Kay Page, Jefferson; and brothers, Donald and Terrell Gunter, both of Braselton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 2 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Terry Page, Johnny Knight and Ed Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, May 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
