STATHAM – Robert “Bob” Leach, 74, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010.
Born in Union Point, Greene County, he was the son of the late Calvin Fletcher and Dorothy E. Finch Leach. He was retired from Belk’s Department Store and was a Methodist Minister. Mr. Leach was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Leach.
Survivors include his wife, Iris H. Leach, Statham; sons, Tom Leach, Bogart, and William Richard Mann, St. Joseph, Mo.; and grandchildren, Chris (Ryan Michaels) Leach, Shelly Leach, Jennifer Leach and Daniel Leach.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, at 3 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Don Hazlegrove, Tony Vismor and Danny Fuller officiating. Burial will be in the Booth Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, December 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
