WINDER - Ruby Stover Campbell, 95, died Sunday, December 5, 2010.
Born on February 8, 1915 in Hall County, she was a retired seamstress from Carwood Manufacturing and a Sunday School teacher to the mothers class for many years at Eastside Baptist Church. She was the oldest member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was also a faithful Braves fan. She loved her two dogs Sport and Trouble. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, S.A. Campbell.
Survivors include her special friends, Brian Deaton and Darrell and Linda Gilmer.
Friends are welcomed from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, at Carter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Gilmer officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church.
