BRASELTON – Michael “Oncay” Scott Oncay, 22, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010.
He was the son of John W. Oncay, III, and Cheryl A. Oncay of Braselton.
Oncay was an amazing Texas Hold ‘Em player and was a member of several area poker leagues. He was loyal to his friends, loved his family, had a niece and nephew that adored him, and was a hard worker. He was funny, outgoing, and one of the most personable people you could ever hope to meet.
Survivors in addition to his parents include grandparents, Charles and Ellon Weeks, Covington, and John and Cass Oncay, New Jersey; an older brother, John W. Oncay, IV, Braselton; sister, Amanda L. Oncay, Braselton; nephew, John W. Oncay, V; niece, Emily M. Oncay; and a host of other relatives.
Lawson Funeral Home, Hoschton, was in charge of arrangements.
