DANIELSVILLE – Jane Sartain Coile, 76, died Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Alzheimer’s Care of Commerce in Commerce.
Born in Madison County on August 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charlie B. and Vela Nash Sartain. She was a retired school teacher having worked with the Madison County School System. She was a member of the Madison County Retired Teachers Association and a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was involved with the U.M.W. and the choir. Mrs. Coile was preceded in death by a son, Charles Martin Coile.
Survivors include her husband, Martin T. “Buddy” Coile, Danielsville; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie Coile and Jay Kieve, Alabaster, Ala.; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lyn Coile, Buckner, Ky.; grandchildren, Kayla Coile, Alex Coile, Jesse Kieve and Emma Kieve; and a sister, Rea Sartain Smith, Royston.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 5, from the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with Jay Kieve Sr., Charles R. Smith and the Rev. Susan Taylor officiating.
